FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I tell you something in confidence ?
We treat as confidential, all conversations which tenants consider to be confidential. However, do bear in mind that some revelations once known create a legal obligation upon us to act or re-convey information. E.g. you tell me you are relocating and are leaving but ask that for now we do not tell the other housemates. The difficulty here is that some of the information you are communicating affects your other housemates or our tenants! Were it to later transpire that we knew something which materially affected the housemates and our agreement with them but failed to communicate this, then we ourselves can become embroiled in any blameworthy action or inaction. To answer your question we will not tell the others you are relocating but we may be legally obliged to advise that you are leaving.
